Suspect named after cash, watches and drug vacuum pack seized

A suspect has been named after cash, watches and a drug vacuum pack were found by police.

The items were seized from a West Derby home by officers on Wednesday. At around 7.10am, officers executed a warrant at a house in Liverpool as part of Operation Aquarium.

Officers then seized a quantity of Class B drugs, cash, high-value clothing and designer watches. Scott Morris of Manor View, Liverpool has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and production of a controlled Class B drug.

The charge forms another part of Merseyside Police’s response to Operation Venetic: a nationwide investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly known as Encrochat. Morris was taken into custody to appear at Liverpool Knowsley Sefton and St Helens Adult Remand Court today, Thursday May 19.
