Chopard at the 18th edition of DJWE

Since its founding in 1860, Chopard has perpetuated a heritage of craftsmanship and traditional skills by shaping contemporary creations synonymous with ethics and emotions. Guided by a resolutely positive vision of life, the Maison celebrates the precious moments of accomplished men and women around the world for whom watches and jewelry are the perpetual extension of their Joie de Vivre.

In accordance with its vision, Chopard acts through the prism of three central elements: Craftsmanship, ensured by the work of passionate artisans; an abundant and generous Creativity, which allows everyone to find the precious objects most in harmony with their own nature; and finally, ethics. Strongly involved in the Maison’s strategic choices, the Scheufele family is convinced that contemporary luxury must necessarily be ethical and responsible. It is for this reason that in 2013 Caroline and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, co-presidents, launched the Journey to Sustainable Luxury, culminating in 2018 in the announcement of the House to commit to using raw gold 100% ethical in the production of all its watches and jewelry.

Today, the Family House employs more than 2,000 people worldwide. It is independent and highly vertically integrated, controlling the entire process from design to distribution. More than 50 different professions are practiced on three manufacturing sites with a strong emphasis on training and internal transmission. Chopard’s know-how in Haute Horlogerie is recognized in the LUC collection, a line of exceptional timepieces designed for contemporary gentlemen. The House is highly recognized for its High Jewelry creations such as its Tapis Rouge Collection, its Tapis Vert Collection and the exceptional Jardin du Kalahari Collection. Chopard has also built its reputation on iconic watch and jewelry collections like Happy Diamonds, Happy Sport and Mille Miglia.

Nourished by the emotions of the members of the Scheufele family who have led and continue to lead Chopard, the Maison has been a loyal partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1998 and of the 1000 Miglia car race in Italy since 1988.
