Designer handbags raise funds for Katy’s families in need

November is the season of giving and Katy has many wonderful nonprofits serving the needs of our community. Dressed by Faith, a Katy-based nonprofit kicks off the season this week by hosting their annual Designer Bag Bash. Find out how you can help the community and have a chance to win great bags like a Louis Vuitton!

Dressed by Faith Hosts Bash Designer Bag
Katy-based nonprofit Clothed by Faith will be hosting a virtual Designer Bag Bash this Friday, November 5th. The event is a fun way for the charity to raise funds for the more than 63,000 customers it serves.
10 designer handbags will be up for grabs via the event’s raffle this Friday. The bags include Michael Kors, Rebecca Minkoff, Consuela, Coach, Kate Spade New York, Tory Burch and Louis Vuitton.
$ 30 gives participants 2 raffle tickets. The raffle for the grand prize of a Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag is $ 20.
You can also purchase additional tickets for $ 5 per entry.
Tickets can be purchased in line.

Clothed by Faith was founded in 2013 by Abi Morton.
âAfter some research, it was a shock to find out how big a problem poverty is here on my doorstep,â says Abi Morton.
According to the Clothed by Faith website, 1 in 4 children in Harris County live below the federal poverty line. That’s over 300,000 children in need.
Clothed by Faith currently serves over 63,000 customers. They operate 95% on volunteers and accept donations. The cost of a week of clothing is $ 25.
