The second watch from the young brand Atelier Wen has a ton of history. Founded by French people living in China, the brand aims to rehabilitate the “made in China” label with obvious quality. Designed from the outset according to the principles established by luxury sports watches like the Royal Oak, among many notable features, one in particular stands out: its dial is real guilloche (simply not found at this price). It is produced by the only Chinese master craftsman, who makes a dial in eight hours from his workshop – in “a real cave”.

New for this season, the Filmore crew neck from Taylor Stitch comes in multiple colors and is made from 100% French terry cotton. It looks true to the vintage styles of the 50s and 60s, with obvious improvements in comfort. It’s dyed and garment washed for a faded look and super soft feel.

Although based on the Enicar Sherpa watch of the 1960s-70s, the new Sherpa brand is not connected to Enicar. It debuts with aesthetics and names borrowed from two similar supercharger-style watches: the OPS with a black coating and the Ultradive with a bare steel case. Both measure 40mm and are powered by Swiss automatic movements.
