11 style releases and new watches we’re obsessed with this week

A quick look at this week’s style and roundup of watch releases reveals one theme: green! Below, you’ll find green boots, pants, shirts, swimwear and watches, along with other pops of color. There’s a pair of all-blue sunglasses from Moscot and a pink-faced Seiko watch. Although we haven’t defined this theme, we surely feel that way – in full bloom, ready for better weather.

This is Todd Snyder’s very first original shoe design. The brand has always stocked interesting options from other brands and collaborated on pairs that better match their aesthetic, but this is the first time the brand has designed and made shoes themselves. The Nomad boot, inspired by the neighborhood where the brand’s flagship store is located, is essentially a chukka, with its short stack of laces, mid-rise collar and rubber sole.

Shinola has added a new collection to its already extensive line of watches. The Traveler is a 42mm chronograph with a minimalist yet classic design, quartz movement, and a few dial color options.

Mami Wata Heart Plaid Swimsuit

Part of the new collection from African surf brand Mami Wata, these patterned swimsuits come with hearts engraved into each box, but also a Mami Wata patch sewn on the left leg.

Grand Seiko Heritage 44GS 55th Anniversary SBGW289 Watch

Grand Seiko continues to celebrate its 55th anniversary with a new model that recalls the design of the brand’s first model from 1967. Just in time for cherry blossom season, its pale pink dial echoes the color of the iconic flower, and a hand-wound movement keeps its 36.5mm case nice and thin.

Downtown Checks Corduroy Carpenter Pants

Checks Downtown’s carpenter pants are one of the brand’s best-selling styles. It’s back, fully replenished, in a wide corduroy. Choose from two colors, Pine Green or Mushroom.

Moscot Monochromatic Collection

Family-owned eyewear brand Moscot has launched a colorful new collection just in time for spring. Called Monochrome, the collection includes a few dozen frames in bright and vibrant colors. Try blue, for example, which features all-blue elements.

Adam Benedict Genesis Watches

A new brand, Adam Benedict is inspired by having discovered watchmakers in his family tree. The modern brand’s gimmick is different colors on the dial to make breathing exercises easier: four seconds in one color for your inhale and six seconds in another color for the exhale. Most US-assembled watches have a nicely understated design, decent specs, and reasonable price.

Fred Perry x Nicholas Daley Vertical Striped Shirt

Fred Perry and Nicholas Daley have collaborated on a collection of shirts inspired by the British 70s Southern Soul scene. They are colorful, eclectic and often patterned. In addition, they are made from ultra-thin materials and fit true to the times.

Manors Pleated Golf Pants

We are not far from the Masters, the biggest stage in golf. As such, why not retire from the sport. Manors Golf’s pleated trousers will look as good on the green as they do off it.

Baltic Aquascaphe Dual Crown 5th Anniversary Watch

French micro-brand Aquascaphe has come a long way in the five years since its inception. He celebrated the milestone with a limited-edition version of his super-compressor-style diver’s watch with a turquoise dial (with either a matching or purple strap). Limited to just 200 copies, they sold out from the start.

PANGAIA Pistachio Couture

I’ve never seen a separate costume that looks more like spring. Pangaia’s new organic cotton couture collection includes blazers and bottoms in three colors: pistachio (seen here), black and pink.
